Bienvenidos and Selamat Datang. Here is a little insight into us, CinPhil and what this site is designed to do. We are probably not your "typical" couple living in a Southern California suburb just outside of Los Angeles. In fact, I know we have never even been labeled "typical" -- chic and charming, maybe, but not typical. Insert wink here....We are a realtively young couple (I in my early 30's, he in his early 40's) raising my pre-teen daughter and trying to maintain our "joie de vivre" and our quest for new adventures. Besides, that is exactly how we met....A serendipitous meeting -- yes online!
We started with our own Facebook page with status updates, pictures, stories, and reviews which is what sparked the idea for this site. Our thirst to travel, try new restaurants, new websites, hotels and quite honestly, questions about what exciting plans we have for the weekend; is why we have such the "active" FB wall. People are curious creatures by nature (I call them Curious George) or maybe just want to live vicariously through you. Whatever the case, INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW (IMWTK). Today, we have a multiplex of options for social networking, blogging, weekend calendars, dating sites, reviews, etc. However, I don't know about you but I am tired of logging into my 22 different apps on my tiny 2.44" Blackberry screen for all of this info.
Alas, a site that caters to people that just want to know where to go, what to do, how to deal with, what people think, and what to avoid--all in one place.....
